Well, it just gets more and more exciting. It is difficult to fully explain the weight of God's glory that is being seen here in Cwmbran. More and more people are coming and going away full of the fire of the Holy Spirit. We are delighted to have guests from California with us.Unbeknown to us Lou Engle in California finished a 40 day fast on April 9th 2013. On April 10th this Outpouring broke out in Wales. Lou Engle a man of God, with an incredible heart for revival pioneered ‘The Call’ which has been used to reach hundreds of thousands of people for Christ. His team of eight jumped on a plane to spend four days in Wales and see what God is doing. During their 40 day fast they had visions and dreams of Whales jumping around in the sea. They believe God was showing them that Wales is a significant place where God is moving, so they came! Click on the ‘More’ link for the latest testimonies.
Praise: God for this wonderful outpouring and for the many blessings received. (Ps.85:6)

Masud grew up in a strict Muslim home in a remote part of Bangladesh. Not only was his family strict, but his father was also an Imam. Masud grew up with full knowledge of the Quran and considered himself to be a radical Muslim. As he grew, however, he began to wonder about the Jesus he read about in the Quran and asked his father many questions: ‘Who is Jesus? Is the Quran true? The Quran says we must study the teaching of Jesus because he was more than a prophet. Why don’t we?’ These questions made his father, the Holy Religious Leader, very angry and he would beat Masud and say: ‘Stop asking questions. You must not question Islam.’ One day, Masud was sitting with friends when a Christian pastor came and shared the Gospel, using the Quran as a tool to point them to Issa (Jesus). Masud was moved in his spirit and recognized that the Gospel was the truth.
Praise: God for Masud and his wife as they live and work for the Gospel in a country where as a religious minority they face danger and persecution for their devotion to Jesus. (Rom.8:35)

What are you doing on May 25th?
In the weeks before May 25th
• Pray for power and boldness to be a witness.
• Pray for open hearts and divine opportunities to talk to people about Jesus.
On May 25th: Reach out to at least one person with the Gospel.
There are unlimited possibilities for doing this.
One on One - Invite someone over for a cup of coffee and tell him about Jesus.
Two by Two – Meet in your church and split up into small teams. Then go two by two to reach the people where they are – on the streets, in the market places, in hospitals, etc.
Care and Share – Do something good for someone and then share the Good News with him.
PRAY WITH YOUR CHURCH, ASSEMBLE IN PUBLIC PLACES, GATHER IN HOMES OR SECRET PLACES
United by a Prayer for the World, Christians from all over the world, from different cultures and denominations, from many diverse streams will gather in their homes, or where appropriate, assemble in stadiums, public auditoriums and open squares, and many will devote portions of their Sunday morning Service to united prayer.
Some meetings will be small. Others will be large, but each one will be praying with the same vision of repentance and hope. As at the first Pentecost, we’ll worship God openly in Christ’s name and pray for the healing and blessings of the nations. As much as possible, we are seeking to gather in places beyond the walls of our church buildings.
On this day we are all praying WITH the world as we pray FOR the world.

A British strand of Islam is emerging as more people become converts, the Economist reports. Using census data on race and religion and questionnaires issued to mosques, Kevin Brice, a researcher at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, reckons around 5,200 Britons turn to Islam every year, bringing the total number of converts to about 100,000. According to the report, those who embrace Islam tend to do so after years of contact with Muslims. Some, mostly women (who make up around two-thirds of new believers), want to marry a Muslim. Others are fed up with the bawdiness of British society. Many speak of seeking a sense of community. Batool al-Toma, an Irish-Catholic convert who runs the New Muslim Project in Leeds, was attracted, she says, by the spirituality of Islam and the warmth of relationships she saw among Muslims. For men, prisons have proven a fertile ground for conversions. Just over 11,000 prisoners are Muslims, about 13% of the total.
Pray: that those who are attracted to Islam will instead be led by the Holy Spirit to the ways of truth and find Jesus. (Jn.17:17)

Prisons have been put on alert for copycat attacks after a warden was beaten and held hostage by Muslim prisoners in a high-security jail. It is thought the prisoners behind the attack were inspired by the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich last week. The prison officer was threatened with a makeshift blade and held captive in an office for four hours at Full Sutton jail in East Yorkshire on Sunday night. He was badly beaten by the inmates and was freed only when riot squad officers stormed into the room. He was left with a broken cheekbone, while a female officer suffered slashing injuries to her arm when she tried to help him. The incident – which is being investigated by counter-terrorism police – prompted warnings that former service personnel working in jails could be at risk from radical Islamist inmates. Senior prison officials have sent an email to high-security jails and young offender institutions warning them about the threat.
Pray: that the prison officers will be protected from those who have radical tendencies and from further threats. (Ez.4:22)

The chief suspect in Saturday’s stabbing of a French soldier was a recent convert to Islam who was acting in accordance with his religious beliefs, French prosecution officials revealed Wednesday. The 21-year-old suspect, who was arrested early Wednesday in a Parisian suburb, had confessed to stabbing the French soldier, said Paris prosecutor Francois Molins. According to Molins, video surveillance footage showed the suspect ‘saying a Muslim prayer’ shortly before attacking a French soldier patrolling a business neighbourhood west of Paris on Saturday. The pre-attack prayer combined with the fact that the stabbing occurred three days after the May 22 murder of a British soldier in London has led prosecutors to believe the suspect ‘was acting on the basis of religious beliefs,’ said Molins. ‘It seems clear the intent was to kill.’
Pray: against any further escalation of terrorist attacks by those acting in accordance with their religious belief. (Ps.109:28)

Police reinforcements were deployed to Stockholm on Friday to help quell unrest as rioting continued for a sixth straight night, spreading beyond the Swedish capital. (See Prayer Alert 21-2013) A nearly week-long spate of rioting spread outside Stockholm on Friday but authorities said police reinforcements sent to the Swedish capital had reduced the violence there, even though dozens of youths set cars and a recycling station ablaze. The rioting - set off earlier this month by the police shooting of a 69-year-old man - continued for a sixth night in mainly poor immigrant areas in Stockholm. The rioting has exposed a fault-line between a well-off majority and a minority - often young people with immigrant backgrounds - who are poorly educated, cannot find work and feel pushed to the edge of society. Two cars were torched in Stockholm but the city appeared to have had its calmest night since the trouble began.
Pray: for a solution to this problem and that the way of peace will be found. (2Tim.2:22)
