‘The God who Sings – Worship and Warfare’ – by Dr Jason Hubbard

Songs rooted in Scripture form our understanding of who God is — His holiness, mercy, justice, and love. Whether in a cathedral or a living room, songs of praise draw us into His presence. Music reaches places where words alone cannot. In persecution, grief, or fear, worship songs become prayers when strength fails.

One of the underground house church movements in the Muslim world has sent out thousands of laborers this year to several key cities to prayer walk these cities, praying onsite with insight – and to encourage the existing house church movements. This year they have also deployed several thousand digital worship hymnals into unreached and persecuted communities across Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Each hymnal is loaded onto a secure microSD card — designed for discreet, phone-to-phone distribution. The songs are written by local believers, shaped by their musical traditions, and strengthened with clear, accurate biblical theology. The delivery infrastructure is in place. The leaders are mobilized. The songs are ready!

As it declares in Malachi 1:11, “For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts”

The promise is that from the rising of the sun to its setting: every hour of the day and in every geographic place, incense (the prayers of the saints) and a pure offering (worship and praise) will come up before the Lord so that the fame of his name will spread like fire across the earth!

This is happening in real time today in strategic unreached cities and nations in the Muslim world!

Right now around the throne there is unceasing adoration – worship, praise, declaration, and praise to the One who sits on the throne and to the Lamb (Rev. 4:8, 5:8-12). May this be the same pattern on earth as it is in heaven!  He is Worthy!

CC March 2026 01BGod is passionately committed to the fame of his name and that he be worshipped by all the peoples of the world.

  • “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!”  (Ps 96:3).
  • “Make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted” (Isaiah 12:4).
  • He does his mighty works in history “that [his] name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” (Romans 9:17).

Worship is the goal and the fuel of missions: Missions exist because worship doesn’t. Missions is our way of saying: the joy of knowing Christ is for all. And that’s why we go. Because we have tasted the joy of worshiping Jesus, we want all the families of the earth included.

“All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you” (Ps 22:27).

As John Piper writes, “You can’t commend what you don’t cherish. You can’t proclaim what you don’t prize. Worship is the fuel and the goal of missions”

The Lord is orchestrating a global worship movement across the nations!

Isaiah 61:11, “For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.”

Worship-based Prayer

All true prayer starts with an invitation to adoration as Jesus taught us to pray, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.” As Pete Greig says, “No one stares up at the northern lights thinking, ‘Wow, I’m incredible’ We are hardwired for wonder, and therefore to worship!”

Worship is the response of all that we are based on the revelation of all that God is. Prayer often begins with requests, but true prayer begins with worship. If we only seek God’s hand—what He can give us—we may miss His face. But if we seek His face first in worship, He gladly opens His hand and provides everything we truly need.

Worship as Warfare

Hebrews 2:11 quotes Psalm 22:22: “I will declare your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation, I will sing your praise.” Jesus leads us in songs of praise to the Father in the midst of the people of God!

CC March 2026 01CIn this same Psalm, 22:3, the psalmist declares that God is enthroned on the praises of His people. Praise creates a space where God’s presence is welcomed and honored. God inhabits our praise, acts as King and the enemy must flee - Light shatters darkness!

One of the worship leaders in Israel, serving at a 24/7 house of prayer and praise, had a powerful dream one night. In the dream, she was standing somewhere near the throne – she didn’t see the Lord or hear his voice, but she heard music and songs. The song being sung was the same one they often sang in their house of prayer.

She asked one of the angels in the dream, why are you singing our songs?

And the angel turned to her and said, you are singing OUR songs!

The Lord had given the singers and musicians in this house of prayer one of the songs of heaven - Wow!

Lord give us ears to hear what your Spirit is saying to the churches in these days and may we sing the very songs of heaven that honor and glorify the absolute worth of Jesus!

Throughout history, songs have carried the message of faith across nations. Worship becomes both a declaration of truth and an invitation for others to encounter the living God.

Scripture reveals that worship is a powerful weapon in spiritual warfare. The apostle Paul reminds believers:

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh… the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:3–5)

CC March 2026 01DOur ultimate weapon is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God! Paul calls us to wield this sword, praying and singing God’s word (Eph. 6:17-18, 5:18-20).

Praise shifts the spiritual atmosphere. It lifts our focus from fear and confusion to the honor, glory and sovereignty of God. Throughout the Bible, we see worship preceding victory, whether in the songs of Israel, the Psalms of David, or the praises of the early church.

Anointed music can bring peace where turmoil once ruled. In 1 Samuel 16:23, when David played his harp before King Saul, the tormenting spirit departed, and the king found relief. The presence of God, which increased as David played his harp (Zamar praise), brought a breakthrough from the tormenting demonic spirit and the gift of shalom for King Saul.

Singing the New Song

Psalm 149:1-2, 5-9,

“Let the High praises of God be in their throats, and two-edged swords in their hands to execute vengeance on the nations”

As we sing the high praises of God declared in the Word of God (two-edged sword), the power of God releases judgment and justice in the nations.  Worship is a powerful weapon of warfare!

The God who Sings

Perhaps the most breathtaking truth about singing is that God himself is a Singing God!

Zephaniah 3:17 declares:

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you with his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”

This verse reveals three profound dimensions of God’s heart.

  1. His presence: “The Lord your God is in your midst.” God is not distant or detached. He is with His people—every moment of every day. His nearness removes fear and gives courage.
  2. His power: He is described as a mighty warrior who saves. Isaiah 42:13 portrays God as a victorious champion who goes forth like a warrior, stirring up His zeal and triumphing over His enemies. God fights for His people. God is a soldier. He’s dressed for battle, armed and ready. He is your champion, your defender!
  3. His passion and pleasure: God rejoices over us as His people. He delights in us and sings over us! Imagine the Creator of the universe bursting into song because of His love for His children. His joy is so intense that it overflows in celebration, rejoicing and songs of sheer delight! God not only loves you, now and forevermore … He is delighted to do so. He is ecstatic in His affection for you. His joy over you is almost too much for Him to bear. He sings and shouts with uninhibited happiness . . . over you! Wow!

Zephaniah also says God will “quiet you with His love.” The God who shouts with joy over His people is also the God who quiets their fears. His love silences anxiety and restores the soul.

It is as though God gathers us in His embrace and simply enjoys our presence. We can slow down and simply rest in his presence, knowing that he enjoys us even in our weariness and weakness.

CC March 2026 01EThis revelation of the God who loves us, enjoys us and takes great delight in us shatters spiritual strongholds in our lives. God is Good and he does all things for his Glory and our Good!

Let’s enjoy his presence, his power and his pleasure. He is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him (John Piper).

Let’s together exalt Jesus and sing songs of praise over our families, cities and nations!

He is worthy and all-deserving of all our praise, all our obedience and all the affections of the human race!

Until every nation sings,

Let’s pray in unity with this Edict for Lasting Peace that has been jointly written by leaders across the Underground Christian Church of Iran - Download Here

Communities across the Middle East and around the globe are feeling the human impact of rising tensions as Iran names Mojtaba Khamenei as its new supreme leader amid the ongoing war with the United States and Israel. The decision comes after the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, earlier in the conflict, a moment that has reverberated far beyond Tehran’s walls and into everyday lives.

For families in Iran, the appointment of a new leader does not feel like an abstract political event. Children and parents alike live with the fear of sudden violence, airstrikes that echo through the night, and uncertainty about what each new day will bring. Markets, schools, and workplaces operate not with routine but with tension weighing on every decision. Reports of missile and drone attacks from Iran into neighbouring countries, and of retaliatory strikes deep inside Iran, have made the war very real for ordinary citizens whose daily concern is simply finding safety and sustenance.

But the impact is not limited to battlefields and borders. Oil - a staple of global energy - has surged in price as markets react to the potential for prolonged conflict and disruptions to oil flows through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, vital for global shipping. As crude prices climb past levels not seen in years, families in distant countries face rising fuel costs that can push up the price of food, transportation, and basic goods. Even in places far from the Middle East, parents are wondering how they will stretch their budgets in the face of higher energy prices.

Amid such global strain, ordinary people are the ones whose hearts ache for peace. Workers worry about jobs and expenses; students carry the stress of watching conflicts unfold on screens; and parents whisper prayers over dinner tables, hoping for calm days ahead. For many believers, these moments are a call to prayer, to lift up not just leaders and governments, but the everyday lives of those who long for security, peace, and provision.

Through all of this, hope is found not in headlines but in the steadfast promise of God’s presence with those who fear and hope alike.

1. Pray for families living amid war and uncertainty.

Lord, be the refuge and fortress for every family under threat. Guard towns, neighbourhoods, and hearts. Surround the vulnerable with Your peace, strengthen communities, and let Your presence drive out fear, bringing safety and hope in every moment.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever‑present help in trouble.”  Psalm 46:1

2. Pray for those feeling Economic Pressure from Rising Oil Prices

Father, provide for families burdened by rising costs and economic strain. Open doors for provision, sustain daily needs, and give peace to worried hearts. Let Your faithful care remind every household that You are their Shepherd, guiding and supplying all they require.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1

3. Pray for peace and reconciliation

Lord of peace, soften hearts divided by conflict and mistrust. Raise peacemakers who reflect Your love and mercy. Heal wounds between neighbours and nations, and let reconciliation grow where hostility once lived, so communities may walk together in justice, compassion, and hope.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9

Summary Prayer

Lord, we lift up families living with fear and economic strain. Bring Your peace into their homes, meet their needs, and guide leaders toward mercy and understanding. May Your presence comfort the afflicted and strengthen the weary. Amen.

Ukraine continues to face relentless aerial attacks, while its military’s hard‑won expertise in drone defence is drawing global attention and requests for help from other nations.

Over the past week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russian forces have launched waves of drones and guided weapons against Ukrainian towns and infrastructure. These assaults have targeted energy facilities, housing, and transportation networks, underscoring the heavy toll this conflict has taken on everyday life. Civilians living under the constant drone threat continue to adapt, seeking shelter when alarms sound and pressing on with work, school, and family life despite fear and uncertainty. This persistent strain places emotional, physical, and economic pressure on families across the country.

While facing these attacks, Ukraine’s defence forces have built highly capable counter‑drone systems that have proven effective in protecting cities and strategic targets. Rather than keeping these tactics to themselves, Ukraine is now sharing its expertise with allied nations confronting similar threats. The United States, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait have expressed interest in Ukraine’s experience in countering Iranian‑made “Shahed” drones - the same type used extensively by Russia in its assaults.

While Ukraine remains careful not to deplete its own defences, it is deploying groups of drone defence specialists and providing training and low‑cost interceptor drones to help protect other countries’ military bases and civilian areas.

This cooperation has practical and spiritual weight. In Jordan and the Gulf region, Ukrainian drone teams are deploying to train local forces and support protection efforts. Kyiv emphasises that any assistance given abroad is balanced with the need to keep its own skies defended. Many governments see Ukraine’s battlefield experience as invaluable in confronting new aerial threats that have emerged in multiple theatres of conflict, including Iran‑sourced strikes in the Middle East.

For Ukrainians, the war remains deeply personal. Parents worry about their children’s safety during air raid alerts, workers struggle to rebuild infrastructure after attacks, and displaced families pray for peace and shelter. War has become woven into daily routines, yet faith and resilience remain central to how many endure hardship.

1. Pray for Protection over Ukrainian Civilians

Lord, surround every family and home under threat. Calm their fears, preserve life, and grant courage during alarms. Bring peace into hearts and safety into communities, shielding children and parents alike. May Your presence be their refuge always.

“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”  Psalm 9:9

2. Pray for Ukraine’s Defenders and Specialists

Heavenly Father, empower Ukraine’s defenders and drone specialists with strength, discernment, and endurance. Guide their hands, protect their lives, and grant wisdom in every mission. Let them act courageously, trusting Your guidance as they safeguard their nation.

“The Lord will keep you from all harm; He will watch over your life.” Psalm 121:7

3. Pray for Ukraine’s role in drone defence

Lord, bless Ukraine’s efforts to defend lives with wisdom and skill. Multiply their resources, empower their teams, and let their knowledge protect others. Inspire collaboration and compassion, so that burdens are shared, lives are preserved, and Your glory is revealed.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Summary Prayer

Lord, we lift up Ukraine to You. Protect civilians, strengthen defenders, and bless efforts that safeguard lives. Provide for families under strain and calm fearful hearts. Raise peacemakers, guide leaders toward justice, and let Your peace and mercy prevail over conflict. Amen.

A devastating militant attack in the remote village of Ngoshe, Borno State, Nigeria, has left communities grieving and displaced as families struggle to cope with loss, fear, and uncertainty. Local officials and residents describe “massive” numbers of civilians killed and hundreds abducted in violence that struck as families were breaking their Ramadan fast.

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, speaking to the BBC, said there were “massive” casualties but that precise figures were not yet available because information from the ground is still coming in. “We rely on local leaders and residents,” he told reporters. Local journalist Umaru Yakubu Kirawa confirmed villagers were taken by the attackers and said survivors are urgently calling for reinforcements and humanitarian support.

Ngoshe, a predominantly rural community, has been rebuilding from displacement and insecurity in recent years - making this fresh violence all the more heartbreaking. For many residents, this was the first time they felt safe after returning home, only to see their peace shattered again. The militants also attacked a military base and a camp for internally displaced people, killing both civilians and soldiers, and at times held control of the town for days before government forces dislodged them with air strikes and ground operations.

This attack is part of a broader pattern of violence in northeastern Nigeria. Extremist groups such as Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have repeatedly targeted villages, forcing thousands to flee their homes and disrupting lives, livelihoods, and basic services. Previous mass abductions and assaults in Borno have left indelible scars, and the memory of past atrocities looms in the minds of many.

Amid the suffering, local authorities are conducting search-and-rescue operations, distributing food and supplies, and pledging support for families who have lost loved ones. The human cost of violence is immense: mothers weep for children lost, elders mourn whole families gone, and communities yearn for safety they have not known in years.

The church is called to stand in prayer for these communities. Lifting up families, protection for the vulnerable, courage for responders, and the hope that only God can bring. The focus is on human life, healing, and God’s presence in the midst of fear.

1. Pray for Grieving Families and Displaced Civilians

Lord, comfort those who mourn, provide for every need, and let Your peace guard shaking hearts. Uphold the broken and strengthen those rebuilding their lives, entrusting all to Your care.

“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

2. Pray for Safety and Rescue

Father, protect every civilian under threat. Shield the abducted, bring them home, and surround families with Your refuge. May Your presence be near in every anxious hour.

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.”  Psalm 91:4

3. Pray for Responders and Leaders

Heavenly Father, grant courage and discernment to responders and leaders. Steward every decision with compassion, bring swift justice, and guide efforts to protect communities with Your protection.

“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.”  Proverbs 21:1

Summary Prayer

Lord, we lift up the people of Ngoshe and all affected by this violence. Comfort the grieving, rescue those taken, protect families, and guide leaders with insight. May Your peace fill every heart and bring hope amid fear. Amen.

On Monday, March 16, 2026, starting at 9am EST, millions of believers across the globe will unite for one extraordinary purpose — praying for 24 Hours for the revelation of Jesus throughout the Muslim world.

We call this occasion “One Miracle Night.”

What is this night? On the 27th night of their fast, Muslims believe one night in particular is set apart from the others, a night when the heavens open and prayers are thought to be 1,000 times more powerful. They call it the “Night of Power,” but we are believing God for it to be “One Miracle Night” when His love and truth break through!

CC March 2026 05BAs house church believers walk, pray, and declare that Jesus is Lord in their cities, we will join them in bold prayer!

Together, we will ask the One True God to reveal Himself to Muslims through dreams, visions, Scripture, and conversations.

We have produced a ‘One Miracle Night’ Prayer Guide that is available in multiple languages online HERE

We are encouraging everyone to pray where they are - at home, at church, at cell groups, at work or in houses of prayer!  Pray solo, in couples, as families, and devote some time in worship and prayer, upholding Muslim peoples in 7 key cities and regions of the world.

All are welcome to join us online along with our Global Family 24-7 Prayer community, who will be praying with us across the 24 hours.

Register to join us in the Global Family 24-7 online Prayer Room HERE

‘New Songs!’

Once again, we are pleased to bring to you a worship song written especially for One Miracle Night entitled ‘Call Upon His Name’.  This inspirational worship song is being launched on the Global Day of Prayer!

In response to a plea from the underground church, leaders of our partner Church Planting Network are distributing 9,000 new worship songs in their mother tongues to them!  We are delighted to bring you some of these songs, to enrich your prayers and worship.

Let's be praying for Kingdom breakthrough across these key Muslim world cities!

This will be the second of our 5 worldwide days of prayer for 2026! – Watch this Intro Video!

The ‘Until the Veil is Lifted’ 7-Day Prayer Guide for Muslim Peoples is designed to help individuals, families, prayer groups, and churches engage meaningfully in prayer for Muslim peoples in the week leading up to One Miracle Night - the Global Day of Prayer for Muslim Peoples on Monday 16th March 2026.

It offers both biblical depth and practical structure, making it easy to use whether you have five minutes or an extended time set aside for intercession.

The guide is arranged as a day-by-day journey, covering seven locations and themes across the Muslim world.

Each day focuses on a real place, real people, and a real story, helping prayers move beyond statistics to compassion-filled, informed intercession.

The journey includes Indonesia, Pakistan, Morocco, Niger, UAE, Ethiopia and Yemen, with links to 110 Cities and Prayercast resources to encourage continued prayer throughout the year .

Each daily section follows a consistent and easy-to-navigate format:

  • A short context-setting story or testimony showing how God is at work among Muslim peoples
  • Key prayer points focused on discipleship, family life, compassion, breakthrough, and Gospel access
  • Selected Bible passages to anchor prayer firmly in Scripture
  • A brief personal application question, inviting reflection and obedience
  • A highlighted city focus, connecting local stories to God’s wider mission in the world

This structure allows the guide to be used flexibly. It works well for personal daily devotion, family prayer times, small groups, or corporate prayer gatherings. Some may choose to pray through one section each day, while others may use the stories and prayer points as a framework for longer worship-based prayer sessions.

The guide also intentionally prepares hearts for the One Miracle Night - Global Day of Prayer, helping intercessors build faith, understanding, and spiritual momentum. Rather than focusing on religious systems, it highlights Jesus’ love, compassion, power, and sufficiency, calling believers to pray with hope and confidence.

Ultimately, this guide is an invitation to stand with God’s heart for Muslim peoples—believing that as the Church prays, the light of Christ will continue to break through homes, families, cities, and nations.

‘Until the Veil is Lifted’ has been published in 30+ languages (online), and is available for free, from the 110 Cities website.

CC March 2026 05DChildrens Prayer Guide…

2BC in partnership with the IPC Media Team have published a companion Childrens Guide entitled Shine for Jesus! that includes songs, daily stories and ‘Justin’s Thoughts’ written by Justin Gunawan.

This colourful Children’s Prayer Guide for Muslim Peoples invites children aged 6–12 on a seven-day prayer journey around the world, meeting real-life children and families living in Muslim cultures.

Each day focuses on a different place—such as Medan, Peshawar, Marrakech, Niamey, Dubai, Addis Ababa and Sanaa—using engaging stories, simple explanations, prayer points, Bible verses, and fun language activities.

Children learn what daily life is like, what people believe, and why knowing Jesus matters.

Families can use the guide together at breakfast, bedtime, or family prayer time—reading a story, learning a new word, praying short prayers, and asking God to show His love to others.

It works brilliantly for family devotions, children’s groups, or individual reading, helping children grow in compassion, faith, and confidence to pray big prayers together for the Muslim world.

This flexible, year-long plan guides you day by day through the Bible while focusing your prayers on frontline workers and communities in 110 strategic gateway cities across some of the least-reached regions of the world.

Each day includes a short Bible passage, a specific person or team to pray for, and a clear, faith-filled prayer that connects God’s Word to what’s happening on the ground right now.

As you pray, you’ll be standing with those who are sharing the Gospel, translating Scripture, planting churches, making disciples, and serving the poor and broken — often in challenging and unseen places. It’s an invitation to align your daily devotional life with God’s global mission and to let Scripture shape your prayers for the nations.

CC March 2026 05FWhether you commit to praying every day or simply start where you are, your prayers matter. Together, as thousands unite around God’s Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will bring encouragement, breakthrough, and lasting fruit.

Shine! 24 Hours – Raising Up 2BC Champions

Tuesday 10th March 2026 | Praying with and for USA and for Peace in the Middle East

“Rise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)

Shine! is more than a 24-hour prayer event. At its heart, Shine! is about children and young people becoming 2BC Champions — learning to hear the voice of their Heavenly Father, discovering who they are in Christ, and confidently sharing God’s love with their friends and families.

This focus is shaping everything we do through the 2BC movement.

See the March Shine! Prayer Guides HERE

1️ Shine! Begins with Children Becoming 2BC Champions

CC March 2026 06BThe first purpose of Shine! is discipleship and identity. Through child-led worship, prayer, creativity and Scripture, children are encouraged to:

  • Listen to God’s voice
  • Grow secure in their identity as God’s beloved children
  • Step out in simple, faith-filled ways to share Jesus’ love

Shine! creates a safe, joyful space where children lead, families participate, and faith becomes something lived — not just talked about.

2️ Praying for Children in the World’s Most Populous Nations

Each Shine! event also carries a clear global prayer focus.

On Tuesday 10th March 2026, we will be praying especially for children and young people across the United States of America — one of the most populous nations on earth.

Together, children around the world will pray that Indonesian children:

  • Encounter Jesus personally
  • Are surrounded by godly families and communities
  • Grow up knowing hope, purpose and God’s love

This is children praying for children — heart to heart, nation to nation.

We will also be praying for Peace in the Middle East, where hundreds of thousands of people and families have been displaced due to the war situation.

3️ Praying for the Light of the World movie to Reach Families Everywhere

CC March 2026 06CFinally, we will continue to pray for the global impact of the beautifully hand-drawn animated film Light of the World, created to share the Gospel of Jesus with children and families worldwide.

The film is being translated into scores of languages and released across many nations, with a clear Gospel invitation and free discipleship resources. It is a powerful tool to help children grow as 2BC Champions — knowing Jesus and making Him known.

Join the Shine! Zoom Call!

Shine! runs for 24 hours, with participation of children and young people across multiple nations, including:

  • Online prayer hours
  • Offline family, church and small-group gatherings
  • Free Shine! resources including Prayer Guides, B.L.E.S.S. cards and worship songs

You can join for an hour, or host your own gathering at home or church.

If you are a child… love children… or were once a child — Shine! is for you.

2BC — Every Child. Everywhere. On Mission. With God.

Tuesday, 10 March 2026 15:02

This week, we have released part 2 of the 7 Keys to Effective Prayer – entitled ‘Abiding in Christ’ Prayer is at the heart of the Christian life — yet many believers quietly wonder if they are really praying effectively. Why do some prayers seem to shape history, while others feel unfocused or weary? How do we persevere in prayer when answers are delayed, opposition is strong, or the world feels overwhelming?

The 7 Keys to Effective Prayer podcast series is an invitation to rediscover prayer as God intended it: rooted in Scripture, sustained by faith, and aligned with His purposes for the nations.

Hosted by Dr. Jason Hubbard, Director of International Prayer Connect, this seven-part teaching series draws on biblical foundations, historic prayer movements, and decades of experience mobilising prayer around the world. Jason brings clarity, depth, and pastoral warmth as he explores seven essential principles that help believers pray with confidence, persistence, and purpose.

These teachings are inspired in part by the remarkable legacy of the Moravian community at Herrnhut, Germany, led by Count Zinzendorf — a movement where believers committed to continuous, day-and-night prayer for over one hundred years, sparking extraordinary missionary fruit across the nations. Their story reminds us that when prayer is anchored in God’s heart, sustained over time, and shared by a community, it becomes a powerful force for spiritual transformation.

Each episode focuses on one key, offering biblical insight and practical encouragement for personal and corporate prayer:

The Seven Keys

  1. Worship Based Prayer
  2. Abiding in Christ
  3. Asking in Jesus’ Name
  4. Praying God’s Word
  5. Breakthrough Prayer
  6. Desperate Prayer
  7. Unceasing Prayer

The 7 Keys to Effective Prayer podcast launched on 1 March 2026, with new episodes released weekly. Listeners are encouraged not only to listen, but to reflect, apply, and allow the Holy Spirit to deepen their own prayer lives.

We invite you to discover the life-changing power of 'Abiding in Christ'. This second session explores prayer as deep relationship, not striving — drawing near to Jesus, receiving His love, and bearing lasting fruit through daily fellowship with Him.

Our prayer is simple: that through this series, believers around the world will be freshly equipped to pray — faithfully, biblically, and expectantly — and to see God move in ways that bring glory to Jesus and advance His Kingdom.
